Definitely keep your mind open to the possibility of applying to multiple nursing programs (Lehman, St. Francis, etc...). I also did not get into the hunter program on my first application because i took the NLN exam without being fully prepared but i toughed it out and was accepted on my second try. If you are set on hunter and happen to be waiting then i suggest you take the Anatomy 1&2 and microbiology courses if you get a chance to (i know they are offered only during certain semesters). I have met plenty of straight A students whose grades have suffered because of the difficulty of balancing the bio lectures and labs on top of the nursing classes and labs. Good luck!!
