@JenSande oh ok thats good to know, Do you have additional information? Becky mentioned that we would know by sept or so if we are accepted. However, she mentioned this is the first year they’re utilizing the scoring rubric. I want to call and ask more, but I feel at this point I am anxious.

@JenSande this platform wont let me DM you, i keep receiving an error message. however i can email it? thats good youre not too far from me. you completed your LPN @ hutchinson? are you from Kansas?
-
Accepted!!
@JenSande did you score in the 80s as well? i am just nervous, i keep bothering Becky because the anticipation is killing me, we wont know for months. let me look for it.
-
Accepted!!
@JenSande Hey, i spoke to her today and she said something like 160-170 applications were received, they only accept based on point system. She mentioned only 40 spots are available for the top scoring, but she couldnt tell me the average score received. My kaplan score was 81% overall with 91% on the Reading, 96% on Math, 48% on writing, and 85% on Science. she sent me a scoring rubric and based on that i have 32.5 points out of 44 ??? which i feel is not competitive for the program. If i scored in the 90s on the Kaplan overall score maybe i wouldve had a shot. what did you score? has Becky told you anything new?

LPN to RN
@keykey0890 Hutchinson looks accomodating, but they receive 200+ applications according to the secretary of the dept. thats competitive for a few spots. Fort morgan looks promising but the rural area kind of would be a challenge to secure housing and employment. and the whole mon-friday stuff doesnt seem doable. but its an option i suppose. after speaking to them i was told its once a year to apply?
-
Accepted!!
@Ddestiny Thank you i appreciate the response, i am so nervous. i am applying but i keep hearing from Becky that so many people are applying 200+
