I got an email about financial aid on July 1st.

I have just been invited to interview with my top choice ABSN program. I was wondering if anyone has advice on what types of questions I should be prepared to answer or what types of questions I should have ready to ask them? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the update! I really hope we hear back next week! I just submitted all of my financial aid documents in IDOC yesterday. I am hoping everything gets processed before the deadline on Friday.

Good luck!! Do you happen to know if extending the deadline affects the date they send out decisions? I got in to a school in Virginia that starts at the end of August, but ECU is my top choice. I hope I will find out from them with enough time to make a decision.

Yay! I saw online that they extended the deadline. I took the HESI about a month ago and found it much easier than I was expecting! Do you have all of your prereqs completed? I am taking chemistry this summer (finishing before August 1) and I'm nervous that will set me back as it says priority is given to applications who have prereqs completed before applying.

I just checked the status of my application and saw it is "under faculty review." It makes me excited and very nervous at the same time!

Hi everyone! I am in the process of applying for the Spring 2020 ABSN cohort. Is there anyone who has been through the program and can tell me a little more about it? I imagine with it only being one year long it is very intense. I have a 3.7 GPA and scored a 94 on the HESI. I know the program is very competitive, but I was hoping to learn other people's stats who were accepted to ease my mind. Thanks!

From what I’ve heard they look at applications holistically and take work experience, personal statements and recommendations into consideration just as much as GPA!
