hope everyone’s interview went well and that we hear back soon [mid march] ?

hi all! couldn't find any forms for CSULA 2022 so I figured I would start one here. I recently applied to Cal States LA PMHNP program, the interview is supposedly set for Monday February 28th and we are expected to hear back this week! curious if anyone has heard back yet? patiently waiting with my fingers crossed to hear back by tomorrow.

am applying next year! what kind of questions did they ask during your interview?

hi! I’m planning on moving to LA after I finish up my one year of experience as a psych RN in nyc and I’m not too familiar with the landscape, only what I’ve read on here and researched online. I am looking for insight as to which hospitals in the los angeles area have inpatient psych units? I know of the state hospitals as well as kaiser and UCLA, am I missing any? much appreciated!

hi all! hope everyone's doing fine! I recently graduated from an ABSN program this august and passed my NCLEX this october - the jump hunt has begun for a new grad psych position and 2 weeks have passed with no luck [searching in new york city + long island + jersey city]. I'm looking for any tips on how to really secure your first nursing position, specifically for psych, as a new graduate. the only prior healthcare experience I have besides my nursing school clinicals is being an EMT for 3 years. any tips or suggestions or connections out there?

my application for the fall 2020 switched to under review but the recruiter I am in contact with said there are no open spots right now.

mine finally changed from "submitted" on oct 11th to "under review" on oct 19th

any updates?

not sure if anyone checks this thread anymore but was looking to talk to past students who have completed the absn program, feeling nervous about this upcoming fall! would love to chat with someone about how the program is and what should be expected. my emails [email protected] matt

does anyone know if the ABSN program still has the option to complete over the course of 2 years? or did pace get rid of that option? / does anyone know of past students who have completed the ABSN program in 1 year and heard any input from how the schedule and intense the course was? just trying to get some real input. matt
