  1. I got accepted into the APL and can't wait to meet everyone! I was waitlisted for the summer term and they did call people off the waitlist. I believe a guy got called the morning classes started so there is still hope! While you wait, I would ask what you can do to improve yourself for summer 2020. As much as being waitlisted sucked, you still did really good and have a really good chance of getting in next time!
  2. I can't believe it's almost time to find out! I am so nervous and anxious at the same time. Ughhh.... trying to study for an exam tomorrow is so hard! I just want to know! Good luck to everyone and to everyone with an interview on Friday! I am sure you will do great!
  3. Hey! I was just wondering if you could give some more information on the program in Jacksonville. I have read many mixed reviews about it. What is your opinion of the program?
  4. Yes that is correct. ASN and BSN can both become RNs once they pass the NCLEX. Most hospitals want BSN but will hire ASN and just require them to complete an RN to BSN program within a time frame.
  5. Does anyone know if we could get the results of our assessments? I am just curious to see what it says for my own personal knowledge.
  6. I am wanting to get into pediatric oncology, L&D, or NICU. I am secretly hoping decisions come out sooner than last year because the assessments were due 15 days sooner this year.
  7. I am planning on going to the workshop and I have an 11:30 interview time. I am hoping to get into the accelerated program. Anyone else for accelerated on here?
  8. This was part of the email for anyone wondering what the averages were for interviews "Those invited to interview average 3.74 in the prerequisite coursework and 338 on the TEAS. We have 36 Accelerated and 36 Regular Prelicensure seats in total for the upcoming term." Good luck to everyone who got an interview!
  9. I got an email! I got an interview!!
  10. Hello! Thank you for taking the time to write to us on here. I am so nervous to find out if I got in or not. I was just wondering what is the typically class schedule like? I know it is probably really busy but are classes everyday? Weekends? Just trying to mentally prepare myself for how busy I am going to be if I get in.
  11. I am finishing up my prerequisites right now too. When I submitted the application I submitted a transcript that showed I was signed up for the courses in the spring. I was also taking classes during the fall semester so I sent the transcript to show I was enrolled and then sent in the transcript with my final grades once the semester was over.
  12. Has anyone been to the Jacksonville campus? I know it's not very big but I just was wondering what it was like.
  13. I don't think there is a way to see how many assessments got sent out this year. I am curious as to how many people applied this year. Last year it sounded like they had a lot of applicants.
  14. I am having the same issue with trying to pay. Anyone able to get it to work? I emailed Kenneth this morning about it so hopefully the issue will be resolved soon. I will let everyone know what he says.
  15. I got the email for the assessment! Good luck everyone!
  16. I didn't do this yet but was wondering if I should? UF should be getting my updated transcripts next week. I wasn't sure if they would look at the updated version since it was already submitted.
  17. Hello everyone! I am taking the TEAS test for the first time next week. I am so nervous but have just started doing the free online practice test. I am definitely behind on studying for it but have been busy finishing up pre-reqs this semester. Anyone have an tips they don't mind sharing? Thank you and good luck to everyone!
  18. My bachelor degree is in psychology with a minor in sociology. I orginally was thinking about going into social work in the hospital but decided I wanted to work more hands on with patients. So, now I am trying to get into a nursing program in Jacksonville. I have not yet taken the teas test. I take in 2 weeks and I am super nervous! I am finishing the prereq classes for nursing right now, so I haven't had much time to study for it. After this week that is all I am doing. Hopefully I do good on it the first time. If you don't mind sharing; how did you do on the teas test the first time? Any tips?
  19. Hey! I am applying to UF and UNF for the accelerated nursing programs! I still have to take the teas test for UNF. Have you taken it yet? I'm so nervous and hate having to wait so long to see if I got in. Good Luck to everyone!
