Nursing dress code
Hi! Its my first time to ever work abroad, I'm wondering what is the usual uniform of NZ nurses in a nursing home or hospital because I'll soon be packing my things and not sure what type of uniform to bring along. I would be very grateful for any response.. I also hope to have some information regarding nursing in NZ... Thanks again!!!

New Zealand nurses' standard of living
Hi! I'm a RN in my country but is already waiting for approval there in NZ. I was hoping to be bound to NZ by october. I wonder what is the cost of living in wellington? How is nursing there in NZ in a nursing home and a hospital? Thanks so much!

HHEEELLLPPP.. Soo confused on NCLEX retake
I really would like to seek advice from you. I received my official result the other day and I failed the NCLEX-RN. I am really confused right now. I'm caught between having a job or retake the exam. I'm really short of budget right now, but my mom is willing to help me in other payments using the credit card. The Vermont state board already had given me a reapplication form. Is it after 45 days or within 45 days when I can retake the exam? My ATT is valid until only January 19, 2007. When I will reapply do I still have to wait for 3 to 4 months to be eligible and to wait for my ATT? DO I still have to pay the exact amount for the ATT and for the scheduling like the ones I had paid before? I would like also to ask.. If I were you, will I continue to review or work? THe lecture only is much cheaper than lecture plus the use of facilities, but I can only afford the lecture but I really would like also to use the facilities because the study environment unlike here at home where there are lots of distractions since my mom can't help me on that aspect of review payment. Thanks a lot!!!!!!!!

I Finally Passssssssssssssssed!!!
COngratulations! I failed my NCLEX as well on my first attempt. And is now trying to review and file again. If its okay I would like to ask, it is mentioned that I may retake the exam in 45 days. Is it within or after 45 days of receipt of the official result. I almost loose my self-esteem and thought that I was a failure. I've already planned for the things I want to accomplish like applying for a job here in the Philippines where I was licensed. BUt my mom keep on insisting to take the NCLEX again. When I first had the result, I loose all the energy I used to have. But upon reading your post here, it sure did give me the idea that I'm on the right track. That my american dream to be a US RN, is what I must focus though I really am bothered if its okay not to have experience yet in a local hospital and continue to review and take the NCLEX. I hope to hear your advise too and from others as well. Coz I still don't know how to break the news to my father, since He really is bothered and much affected due to the financial thing that really cost him. THANK YOU AND CONGRATS AGAIN!!!
