  1. @BlessNgo Thanks for asking. I still haven't been asked for an interview, so I'm not feeling confident that it will happen. Good luck with your interview on Friday! I've heard that they really aren't bad at all and I'm sure you'll do great.
  2. Curious if anyone has heard anything? I believe it's technically late August. Anyone get a decision or have an update?
  3. @lomindy1 Have you been asked for an interview?
  4. Thanks for the insight @Geralynn Hinton and good luck at your interview!
  5. Thanks @Geralynn Hinton. When did your application become committee review?
  6. Does anyone have an update? My application recently moved to Committee Review but I noticed I don't have access to any of my supplemental documents anymore. Is that the case for anyone else? I'm wondering if I need to reach out to them and make sure everything is OK with my application.
  7. @abbi2006 Congrats on finishing the interview! Did you also have to do the writing sample? Would you mind giving me an idea of the timeline for applying so far? When did you have your application complete, when did it become Committee Review, and when were you asked to interview? Just trying to get a grasp on how long the process takes. Appreciate the insight!
  8. @lomindy1 I believe so. Have you gotten an email for an interview? Anyone else have an update?
  9. That's so exciting! I hope you hear back soon. How was the proctored writing sample?
  10. @wenwuhoward You already had an interview? The website says the priority deadline is Aug 1 with interviews mid-August to mid-November. Did they say when you'll hear about a decision?
  11. I am! Just getting my essay and resume together this week. Planning on having everything submitted by Aug 1.
  12. Was anyone who was rejected able to get feedback from admissions?
  13. Apparently, it's not a good sign if your SURFS account changes. I got my official rejection email this afternoon. It stings but I'm looking forward to applying for Spring. For those of you who have been accepted, I'd love any insight into your application and how I can improve mine. I felt my essay was strong but maybe I went a little too emotional with it rather than explaining exactly why I'm choosing the CNL path. Would any of you be willing to let me know what angle you took with your essay? We all have incredibly different backgrounds, so the detail of the essay isn't as important. I'm really just wondering how you structured the essay. Did anyone include anything extra with your application? Also, I've mentioned before that I have a low GPA from undergrad. Unfortunately, it's not something I can change by taking more classes now. If you also had a low GPA previously, did you try to explain it with this application? Thanks in advance for any advice, suggestions, insights. I'm hoping the next semester will be for me. And, most importantly, best of luck to everyone who has been accepted! I truly hope you do well in the program and become amazing CNLs someday!
  14. My SURFS account has updated to show MSN and like others, I no longer have the decision line. I wonder if it will appear once a decision has been made. Did anyone call to find out if this is some sort of glitch? It also doesn't have "Committee Ready" or "Complete Ready for Review" anymore. So strange...
  15. @EndoWarrior I believe SURFS will update and an email or letter is sent. From what I've read of past application cycles, there could still be another wave of interviews and acceptances/rejections. I'm in the same position as you, though, and am starting to work on my Spring 2020 application. Does anyone know when Spring usually opens?
