  1. since you are probably going to apply in CNo. one thing certain is no English requirement for you. you might take osce or not. cno is unpredictable we will never know unless you applied from nnas to cno. you might have a hard time in looking for work. you will start as casual then part time to full time. in usa you can easily get a full time job
  2. that's true US is im a hiring frenzy right now. Canada I don't know maybe there a lot of nurses. I know a lot of RPN still working as a psw
  3. kiboy replied to Emilylou's topic in Canada
I applied 75 times in AHS Calgary and nearby areas and got no calls for interview. im an experienced nurse with 5 years US experience plus 3 more from another and 6 months in a nursing home in Calgary. its terrible in alberta. a lot of nurses told me if you don't know anyone from AHS they will not hire. now im going back to USA to work as a nurse in a hospital
  4. agree. I have a co worker before who works at ahs as an HCA after getting an lpn license he was able to get a casual lpn position. I on the other hand have been trying to apply for more than 6 months but no interview. I am an experienced nurse coming from usa. unfortunately I don't have any connections in AHS. alberta has no demand for nurses right now I presume
