Hi everyone, I was hoping to get some clarification on the amount of student loans I would need to go into nursing school. The program that I'm in allowed me to take some online nursing classes before going into the program so I wouldn't have as much as a workload. This has allowed me to work while im in nursing school so no student loans. Next semester I will be a full-time student and was told that I shouldn't work while in nursing school because it would be too hard. Anyway, I calculate the student loans I would need and it came to be $29,000 just for two years. Does this seem insane to anyone else?! that's the program fees and living expenses. I don't know what to do. I don't wanna be in that much debt. If you don't mind me asking, how student debt you guys have/had? I've tried to google what the 'normal' amount of debt is and not a whole lot has come up.
