  1. Pay is depending on dialysis experience. When I was working for Fresenius, my manager said no pay increase with certification. It may be different with other managers. Overall Fresenius is a good company to work for.
  2. Thank you for this advice. I am weighing the pros and cons. Considering my husband's job too, he is currently working as a GS12 in one of the naval bases in Norfolk.
  3. Hi there! It's been going well. I am now working in Cardiothoracic surgical ICU. To be honest, the transition was challenging but it can be done as long as you hang in there. I gained more skills, definitely made me a stronger nurse. You can do it!
  4. Currently, working at Cardiothoracic surgical ICU. Just looking for a place where I could be more useful.
  5. I am planning to join the AF too. But haven't started the process yet.
  6. Any news yet for foreign nursing graduates joining the military?
  7. Hi. Just looking for opportunity to join the AF. Anyone who already joined? How is it?
  8. I transitioned from dialysis to medsurg floor a month ago, after being a dialysis nurse for 5 years. I am having a rough time and wanting to quit while on orientation. Bedside nursing is something I cannot do.
  9. Hi mamain! I sent you a friend request. I just started my orientation at the hospital.
  10. Yes 50 cents. I did it 2 years ago.
  11. Hi! Need help here. I've been a dialysis nurse for 5 years and now transferring to a vascular stepdown. Any dialysis nurses who have done this before? How was your transition?
