  1. I'm glad to say I've been accepted to Viterbo University DNP program starting next Summer. I'm still waiting for UW Eau Claire, but as that program starts Fall 2024, it might be awhile until I hear back from them.
  2. Hi everyone, looking to see if anyone applied for the 2024 cohort BSN-DNP at Viterbo University. Also, I wanted to create this thread to get some info from previous cohorts about the program. I submitted my application for DNP-FNP on August 16th and received an interview invite yesterday. The interview is scheduled for next week, September 16th.
  3. About a month. I graduated on Dec 12/18/21 and didn't begin studying until around January 3rd. I took the NCLEX RN on February 2nd and I passed in 90 questions. I used Kaplan, ATI and Sanders. Of the three, I feel Kaplan helped me the most.
  4. Congrats Piper! I'm in Wisconsin. I will check the WI BON. Thank you!
  5. Thank you Tink! I got the good pop-up with the Pearson Vue trick. Hallelujah ?
  6. I graduated December 18th of 2021 from an RN BSN program, and took a break from studying until after the holidays. I used ATI throughout nursing school and the bulk of my NCLEX preparation since graduation has been Kaplan. Trainer 1 59%, Trainer 2 56%, Trainer 3 66%, Trainer 4 65%, Trainer 5 57% Trainer 6 60% Trainer 7 55% and Readiness test 67%. All three Kaplan CAT exams overall green, the first two shutdown at 75 questions and the last one shutdown at 101 questions. Anxiety is high right now and I'm just trying to relax today. I take the exam tomorrow at 8 am. I already accepted a position in the Telemetry/ PCU floor at a local hospital and need to pass this darn exam. I will report back hopefully with good news!! Update 02/02/22 So, I took the NCLEX-RN exam this morning. The test shutdown at 90 questions and I had 36 SATA. I tried the Pearson Vue trick and I got the good pop-up. To say I'm relieved its an understatement. It's been an stressful couple of weeks and I'm glad its over. Of course I won't be 100% satisfied until I get the unofficial result on Friday but for now I will take this small victory.

  8. Congrats! I'm hoping for an acceptance letter anytime after Nov 15th...fingers crossed.
  9. Thank you for service Dylan. I'm also active duty (Navy) but I'm getting out in a few days and I plan on starting nursing school next spring. You will have to get nursing pre reqs out of the way, some of the subjects will help you are human anatomy, physiology, chemistry, mathematics, English composition. Make sure you use the military tuition assistance. I took all my nursing pre req while on active duty and the Navy paid for all of it. I served on an anphibiuos ship so Marines deployed with us. During deployments we had college instructors aboard the ship so sailors and marines could take college classes. Subjects like mathematics, history, english. The best time to actually take college classes for active duty personnel is when we come back from deployment at least for Navy. Make sure you are on the look out for opportunities to take college classes while you are in, take as many credits as you can. You can use your GI Bill to pay for school after you get out. I live in Wisconsin and the state has it's own GI Bill for prior military. So I get one degree paid by Navy and an additional one paid by the State of Wisconsin Good luck to you!
