I applied to Dell Children's and have an interview next week, I got the interview through someone I know though and not the online application

@stunurs have you heard back from anyone yet? I did the Google form on the 2nd and still haven't heard back, I hate the waiting game!

Were the interviews one-on-one or a panel? Thanks for all the info!

I got the Google form email on Wednesday last week and I'm still waiting to hear from the recruiter, I'm guessing things might have gotten a little delayed from the ice storm. I'm so anxious to hear back! Was your interview in person or zoom/phone call? Was it with someone from the unit or just general HR? Thanks!

Did anyone else get an email from Cindy about their admission letter being linked to the wrong form? I now get a 503 error when I try to open the acceptance form....

I got into San Antonio but I only thought I put Austin as a choice. Ahhh I've got a lot to think about. Not sure if I can make the extra commute with a toddler at home. I already called Cindy to see if I could be placed in Austin if someone doesn't accept their spot. Congrats everyone!!!!

I got the go ahead to submit my ApplyTexas application at the end of July, and just submitted that portion when I realized we didn't have to write the essays. Thanks so much @HH2019 for pointing that out, such a relief!

The waiting is so rough on me mentally. I have three exams next week and I am having the hardest time focusing on studying because this is all I can think about. I really hope we find out this week!

I submitted mine on the 12th and still haven't heard anything from them. Apply Texas isn't due till October though so I'm thinking it might take a while.

I haven't been contacted yet by TAMU, I submitted my application about 10 days ago and it says that it is verified. I am going to go ahead and start my ApplyTexas application soon though to get it done with. It says on the website that if we don't hear from them by October 1st to contact the university.

Those are great stats! I just took my HESI and I got a 93.2 overall, so happy I got the average acceptance score. I'm curious where everyone else who is applying is at since the application closes soon lol

I got my transcript evaluation a few days ago. I think they may do evaluations in the order that applications are submitted. I submitted mine on June 6th. Once my transcripts were evaluated they checked off my degree. I had to make a few corrections so I am waiting to see if they fixed it all now.

I was wondering if anyone has any tips for nursing school interviews? I *hopefully* will be having some interviews soon and am honestly pretty terrible at interviews and have a ton of anxiety in these situations where it feels like my brain just turns off. I don't have any previous medical experience, I am a stay at home mom right now and have been taking my prerequisites over the past 18 months a little at a time. I've gotten A's in all of these and have worked my butt off to get to this point but I am afraid it isn't enough. I am not sure how to respond to not having experience, which I am sure would come up in an interview. Also these are all ABSN programs. Thanks in advance!

Most likely you will need to take bio and chem before A&P (its usually a prerequisite), so if you can take any classes this summer you should try and at least do general biology. You do not want to go into A&P without this foundation anyways, it will be extremely helpful to have those done first. Are you a full time student? How many classes can you take a semester? If you want to apply for nursing school next summer you will have to take a pretty large course load the next few semesters.
