  1. To everyone who was admitted I created a facebook group! Search “Pitt CRNA DNP Cohort 2023-2026”. Best of luck to everyone else who recently applied!
  2. Same! Do you know anything about taking a couple classes early? I’m trying to decide if I want to do that to take a load off my plate or just enjoy the last few months of freedom I have…
  3. I contacted them and they said the email should go out this week. It doesn’t feel real yet until I get the email! ?
  4. Would love to! Science GPA was a weakness of mine due to a bad semester in school where I ended up getting a C in Phys due to some personal circumstances, so I really tried to make the rest of my app stand out: - Cum GPA: 3.54. Science GPA: like 2.93 - GRE: 312, verbal 3.5 - Retook A&P in January and received an A. Began an advanced graduate level pathophysiology course in March. This bumped my science GPA above 3.0 - 4.5 years ICU / RN experience. 2 in a MICU and 2.5 in a general ICU (surgical/neuro/trauma/medical). Charge nurse a for the last 1.5 years and fill in as rapid response team - Was an undergrad research assistant in college and have 3 publications I’m co-author of, presented at 2 conferences - Involved in 4 committees at work and began an EBP research project with my unit educator - Have been volunteering at a free medical clinic for some time now. I’m happy to report that grades aren’t everything! I tried to prove that through my GRE score and personal achievements.
