  1. WGU. Does not go by graded it’s either pass or fail. I did bsn and Msn in less than one year and worked full time. It’s a self paced program.
  2. Started MSN leaders June 1st. Finished BSN in 5 months. 43 credits. Would love to be in touch with others going through same
  3. You will do it. You already sound motivated and have a plan in place. Those that fail are those that do not plan. So you are already ahead of the curve. It is easy to get discouraged but the best advice I can give is do not read every book cover to cover use the books as a resource only to the study guides
  4. Well I do not like that your mentor was discouraging to you. I did have some pre req. but total credits I had to do was 43. I took A&ap in my RN class. In my instance my mentor wanted me to do my pre reqs first. Humanities , micro, nutrition, stats. If you do not click with mentor just ask for a new one. Good luck
  5. I had everything ready to go and start a few weeks. They allow people to start at the beginning of every month
  6. Well I certain understand your concerns. I work for a government agency and the only way that my degree would be recognized for advancement is if it was an accredited school. WGU is accredited by CHAIIM, CCNE, NCATE, NWCCU, and multiple other Distant Learning awards. I carefully vetted where and how I would get my degree and so should you!
  7. Statistics was tough. I am no math whiz. Would consider this my weakest subject. I went step by step with the book and worked the problems. I also utilized the cohorts and set up extra help with the math center when I did not understand. Bio chem same thing. I finished both in 2-3 weeks. As far as paceing myself. It's tough to answer as everyone is different. I do not have kids at home. I work 4 10hr days. Usually I made sure to go to bed on time. For us by 11. Since I have Friday, Saturday and Sunday off I utilized those all of those days to do most work. Just did nothing else
  8. I started at WGU on October 1, 2018. I just finished the final class. 43 credits in one semester. I needed a few things that I did not do in my ADN program, like statistics. I will answe any questions you may have to help you through it
