Are CNAs allowed to call family members about impending deaths?
Someone online wrote about a day back when they were a CNA, and they said that they were watching the patient die and monitoring their progress so that they would be able to call the family member and notify him that their relative was about an hour away from dying. After reading that, all I could think is 'wow this is a BS story.' I think that because I used to be a CNA, and we weren't responsible for contacting family members ever, nor were we qualified to judge when someone was 1 hour away from dying. So I wanted to ask you guys what you think. Is this a made up story or does it sound legit? I messed up the poll by giving 5 slots I just wanted yes or no options.

Hiring Mgr: We will let you know in 2 weeks
Re: how long has it been? This interview in particular was yesterday. I've been going on at least one interview per week for more than the past month, so I am starting to get fed up with these HR people's antics. Oh well I'll keep applying.

Hiring Mgr: We will let you know in 2 weeks
I semi-blew an interview, meaning I didn't completely make an ass out of myself, but I could have done better. The hiring manager told me that I will hear from them no later than 2 weeks from the interview date *even if I did not get the job. She further explained that she has a lot of interviews to do, which is why it will take that long. I am assuming I did not get the job. What are your experiences with "We'll call you in 2 weeks"?

Carl Jung btw. MBTI is pseudoscience. The Barnum effect is why anyone would give a **** about it.

Non-nurse Staff Development Coordinator
I applied for a Staff Development Coordinator position at a health and rehab center, and I have an interview coming up soon. The job listing did not specify that an RN or LPN license was required; however, I have never met a Staff Development Coordinator who was neither an RN nor LPN. The job listing said: "May be filled by RN or LPN," which is why I applied (i.e., possibility or preference, but not requirement). In short, I am wondering how often non-nurses are employed as SDCs: A quick Google did not seem to reveal much information. Countrywide similar job listings also showed nursing licenses as a requirement, for the most part. TLDR: I am wondering if anyone here has encountered a non-nurse SDC or has been employed as a non-nurse SDC. Thanks
