  1. Oh okay thanks! Fingers crossed for us. Hoping that they’re just taking their time looking through everything.
  2. Anyone here apply for Peds unit or the nursery that got called for an interview? Mine has been under review since Jan 30.
  3. CONGRATS to all those who got offers! Just wondering if anyone has heard back or know anyone who has heard back from B2 (hemonc)?
  4. It was like a casual conversation which made me very confused cause I was only expecting for her to tell me that I was gonna have a second interview. Then she asked me a few questions pertaining to my senior project, why I’d be a good fit for the unit, and what I think about palliative care. Something like that. So I’m not sure if she moved with other candidates for second interview after that phone call. The waiting game is sooo painful haha but whatever the result is, I’m just happy to have this opportunity. Rooting for you too!! Good luck! ?
  5. I got a call from B2 like an informal second interview and said I’d hear back from Kevin if I do get it. But I was very unprepared for that phone call ?
  6. Hi! Which oncology unit did you interview for if you don’t mind me asking. Also, good luck! ?
  7. Has anyone received rejection letters yet?
  8. Hi! same here I interviewed on the 27th too. Hope we hear back this week!
  9. Has anyone heard back or had their second interview for acute care?
  10. Only know 1 person who has heard back this morning. I've been anxiously waiting but not sure if they're done calling people for second interviews because I haven't received any rejection letter yet ?
  11. Hi! Thanks so much for the info. Will definitely look into all of those places you mentioned. Right now, I'm still undecided because my parents are suggesting for me to live on-campus. However, I know it's a little bit more price than the off-campus locations. I'm all about saving money as much as I can 😁
  12. I'm moving to Sacramento and I'm curious as to which housing is the best choice in terms of cost and distance to the nursing building? Feel free to recommend any place :-). I am not that familiar with the area.
  13. Has anyone of you completed the Pre-Clinical Verification? It says "NEW Students: You have already received the link to "Onboarding Day". If you have not already complete it, please do so... You need to attend the day designated based on your clinical assignment." However, I did not receive any links regarding the Onboarding day I'm confused.
  14. I got my acceptance as well
  15. Thanks!! Hopefully the cut off goes down even just by 2 points. That would really benefit a lot of applicants.
  16. Do anyone of you know when the cut off usually drops?
  17. Hi! I applied with 83 points Adjusted GPA: 4.0 Non-Adjusted: 3.89 TEAS: 91.3% Optional: 12 pts Goodluck to everyone! :)
  18. Hi guys I'm in the process of completing the application since I just finished taking my TEAS this afternoon. GPA: 3.9 Adjusted GPA: 4.0 (50 pts) TEAS: 91.3% (20 pts) Optional Criteria: 3/5 (12 pts.) I'm not sure yet with my other optional criteria but if that gets counted I might get 4/5 82 points in total Goodluck to everyone! :)
  19. I'm applying for Fall 2018 too GPA: 3.9 TEAS: 88% (retaking it in two weeks) Have around 1000 hours of healthcare work and foreign language. Where do I find the supplemental nursing application? I've only applied for transfer admission.
  20. trouss, How'd you do in the TEAS exam? I'm so nervous I'll be retaking it next month!
  21. j_ssica, wow with those stats you'll definitely get in! I'm currently studying to retake the TEAS again this Feb. I'm using the ATI manual and mometrix book. Hopefully I score in 90s. *fingers crossed*

They take the highest score you get. That's true the science section is so broad that they can ask almost anything about it in the TEAS. I'll schedule for a retake next month and hopefully I get a 90%. Thank you so much for your help!

I'm trying to apply to sac state and most people apply with around 90% TEAS score and most have 4.0 GPAS. I'm worried if I take it again I'll just get a lower score but I'm also torn with setting with an 88% when I apply.
  24. Hi! I'm planning to apply to CSUEB, Sac State, SFSU, USF, CSU Stan GPA: 3.9 TEAS: 88% Healthcare experience and foreign language I'm so worried about my TEAS idk if I should retake it or not.

I am so worried. I scored 88% on the TEAS exam on my first attempt and I have a 3.9 GPA. Should I retake the TEAS exam? Or is that competetive enough
