  8. I am reviewing the requirements on how to do the RN Licensure by Endoresement in the State of Wiconsin. I applied for my initial licensure in Florida because they don't required CGFNS. But I am now having a hard time to endorse my license in Illinois because they are requiring a local license from the country of my education which is in the Philippines. I did'nt intended to practice in there since I am a U.S. permanent residence that is why I didnt have a Philippine license. I want to work in Wisconsin. I am reviewing the requirement on how to do the endorsement since I live couple minutes drive from Kenosha, Wisconsin. I understand that as a foreign graduates I need to provide additional requirements like CGFNS. But based from the Wisconsin Department of Regulation & Licensing website there is an Exception from CGFNS: If you have graduated from or completed the nursing education program of an English speaking school in Canada you are except from CGFNS. Also, you may be except from CGFNS if you have been licensed and practicing full-full time for 2 consecutive years within the last 5 years in a U.S. state does not require CGFNS. Is it possible to endorse my license in Wisconsin even if I didn't work in Florida as an RN? I am confused. I hope someone can help me regarding this matter. Thank you.

I do have Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. It's 2 years and 1 summer in between to complete the program. You can check the website www.pwu.edu
  17. Hello to all the second courser students or graduates that went home to study nursing. Share your experience and where you working at (US)?
  18. Anyone from you guys have an information about this school? The second batch will start soon around August 2007. Im still devating If I'll go to this school paying more money for an LPN program instead of waiting much time to get into community college. I am pretty much sure that I wanna take LPN first than go straight to RN. Here's the website http://www.americare.edu/
  19. Hello This is my first time to post thread but im a regular reader here. I got a bachelors degree and planning to take nursing as a second career. They transfer some of my credits like Intro to Psychology (B), Sociology (A) & Computer Fundamentals (A).. though they didnt asked me to take any mathematics since I took mathematics algebra (B) trigonometry (A) and chemistry (A) in my other degree. Mathematics & Chem aren't part of the nursing curriculum. Some of nursing student i know, are they need to take mathematics, chemistry, Physics.. etc for pre requisite. Im just wondering w/c credit that i need to consider to compute my GPA. I already signed up for classes this Fall for Composition and HUman Growth & Dev. Though im gonna take some classes included in the curriculum even im not yet "in" to the program. I know that to get in to the program is really competitive that why i wanna watch my GPA.
