To my OR nurses
Ktc18 I am so sorry you are having a bad experience in the OR. I am an OR nurse with 21 years of experience and am very ashamed of the way you are being treated. You are part of the team and they should be looking out for you. My advice is to ask many questions, keep a notebook with tips about each surgeon and procedure, and keep up the great work. It is always difficult to move from one specialty to another, going from being the person with all of the knowledge to the person needing the knowledge. Trust me you will get there. Keep your head up and show the team that you are more than capable of being there. Besides they need you just as much as you need them. Look back on your day and celebrate the little accomplishments. Hang in there and you will be an awesome OR nurse. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Lefthanded in the OR??
I am left handed and am able to use either hand. I do not have any problem. I stand on left side of patient to insert foley Cath, use scissors with my right hand, assist anesthesia mostlu on left side of patient but am able to do either side. You will be amazed at what you adapt to. Don’t let left handed ness keep you from doing what you dream. Best of luck in the OR. I love it and have been working the OR for 19 years

@berserk_angel Let's just try to keep our heads up and think positive. I know that can be difficult, especially since we did this same thing last year. But try to find the positive in this situation. Things do happen for a reason. This group of future Huskies will offer support and reassurance. And if we do get the old rejection email, we will pick ourselves up and move on to the next plan in our life...........OMG this is so crazy difficult!! ?

That math was tough! Trying to think positive! I really hate waiting, but here we go. Best of luck to all of us. Let's try to keep busy and the time will fly by. Soon we all be on this site, chatting about whether we are in or not. It would be great if we all could be the next "future Husky Nurses" ?
