    I believe Long Beach Memorial has a contract with CSULB for students to transition into a nursing role there after graduation if they interview and get the job, but not sure about the specifics.

    Hi NewBSN2017 I believe that is the case too because we weren't able to select our units that instead the HR will place us in whatever units they see correlates with our experience. I think they will start contacting for interview mid December to end...

    I don't think they pushed back the program bc it's set to start the same times as last years I believe. Keep checking and by mid December they will probably have something posted!

    Just a heads up Sharp Memorial has started interviewing for their ICU units so most people should have received interview invites.
  13. What do you think of 12 hour shifts

    Enjoy working 12 hour shifts because you get 4 days off to rest and recuperate. You do work really hard during those 12 hour shift though and they can be exhausting. But I enjoy working hard and then knowing I have rest of the days off.
