I really just used UWorld primarily! I finished the QBank overall 61% correct...toward the end I was getting between 60-70% on my exams. I placed in the 85th percentile on the Practice RN exam with a "very high" chance of passing. I thought the NCLEX...
Late to this thread, but I just took the NCLEX today! I finished super quickly (I've always been a fast test taker) and had 60 questions. I felt okay walking about but really had no idea where I stand ? I just did the PVT and got the "good" pop up, s...
Congratulations!!! What unit? My application still says "under review." I am an out-of-state student though and did not attend the open house, so I'm not very optimistic about it...I knew chances were slim prior to applying anyway! But we'll see I gu...

Hi! New to this thread. I just applied today for the Summer 2020. I am interested in Peds! I currently work as a tech in a pediatric med-surg floor, so I am hoping that helps!!
Hi guys! I know it's a little early... but just wanted to start a thread for those who are applying to the UMD CNL program for fall of 2018. I just submitted my application!

After some thinking, I've decided to go elsewhere. I've already submitted my deposit back in December, but I emailed them just now after hearing of an acceptance to a different school. This has been SUCH a hard decision for me, but I wish everyone th...
Double check your email. They sent me an email saying I wasn't accepted then 5 minutes later they sent another one saying the e-mail was sent to the wrong recipients and to disregard it.... what an error haha
GREs were optional for JHU - recommended but not required. I'm in the same boat....really struggling between JHU and UMD...but a good problem to have! Congrats to everyone who has been accepted and good luck to everyone else who is waiting. :)
Also, I was just told that decisions for non-admitted applicants will also begin to be released this week and will continue throughout March and April. They'll receive an email instead than a physical letter in the mail. That decision will also be r...
You have to fill out the FAFSA form. On UMSON's website it says that students should complete the FAFSA after January 1 and before February 28 every year to meet UMB's award priority deadline of March 1. Here is the link, which also has more aid/sch...
Aapage87, which is your first choice school? I replied back asking if we were not accepted to the program and when those decisions would be released by.
I emailed admissions and asked again when we can expect to hear a decision. They said that the Admissions Committee will begin releasing decisions this week and that they will be releasing decisions on a rolling admissions basis throughout March and ...
Yeah... I'm very surprised about how long it is expected to take....maybe it will end up being sooner. If interviewers are saying it should be ~2 weeks/within March, maybe there is just some lack of communication between them and the admissions couns...
I called admissions today to see if there were any updates since today marks 3 weeks for those of us who interviewed the second week of February. I asked when we could expect to hear a decision, and I was told "sometime in April." I clarified if tha...
Well we've heard that you can expect a decision 2-5 weeks after your interview due to the high number of applicants, which is a pretty big window of time. Here's to hoping we hear something sooner rather than later!!
Ugh! Nothing on my end either. I know people have called, but I have yet to personally do so. Tomorrow will mark 3 weeks since my interview (and the rest of us who interviewed the second week of February), so I'm going to call later this week and see...
Aapage87, Ah understandable! I was just thinking about that. But yeah, you're right - everyone does not get an interview! I did an information session a few weeks ago and I believe they said around 100 are interviewed, and they accept 50-60 students...
