Which program did you get accepted in to for the fall? I think only FNP gets the phone interviews.

Would anyone know why they don’t release decisions all at once? And did everyone who applied do the phone interview?

Hey everyone: quick Q! I interviewed beginning of November and HR keeps telling me up until now that a position will open soon/they're interested in me.. I'm not sure how to feel! I really want NYU and I've had no luck with other hospitals... Any advice?

Hey they just ask why nursing, what unit, and why NYU! And from there they try to set you up in-person with HR and if you’re already applying to a specific position they set you up with the NM of the unit!

don't give up! it's definitely a busy time being the end of the year and all and with all the hospitals budget cuts. so you will definitely hear back sometime soon ?

Did they tell you before your interview that you needed it?

I was planning on bringing a copy of my transcript but my school doesn't have an unofficial transcript option... do you know what I should do?

hey! kinda in the same boat as you. i had a phone call with a recruiter earlier this week with NYU and they said to follow up at the end of next week if I don't hear back from them. Same day I received an email to schedule an in-person! maybe i can update you once i have the interview?

My boss is an attending physician at NYU and he got the number of the recruiter. Do you have LinkedIn? Maybe you can look up recruiters and reach out!

I was pretty different. I connected with a recruiter while in school and continued to follow up until I got my RN license!

No not yet, I think it’s a general RN position interview? I have the interview with HR and she just sent me that guide you mentioned for the med calc test! I got it about a week after I took my test! Congratulations! And wow that is a while. I did a phone screen about a week ago and will be going in to meet with HR in 2 weeks and take that test! Hopefully it goes well and the schedule me to meet with a unit manager.

NYU sent me a link to input my references and asked me to choose dates for an exploratory interview.. I’m not sure what step I’m at but maybe you have advice? but what did you think of the med math test? And yup I went to school here and just got my license! The state did take a while to process my education for me to be eligible so I kind of know how you’re feeling.

Also I'm also trying to figure out the whole housing situation as it seems they don't have dorming situations for the summer..

How long was the wait from doing your interview to receiving a decision letter? Dr. Carr said a few weeks but I just wanted to know a specific time, I'm pretty impatient!
