PDF or Word?
If you have an internal contact waiting for your resume then pdf should be fine. If you need to get to the hands of a hiring manager because you have no internal contacts, then optimize your chance of passing the ATS with a Word format.

Suit, or "business professional" attire?
Suit up, classic, well fit, not over the top.. ER fellowship in a competetive job market, set yourself apart from the competition. You can live in scrubs after that. Good luck.

Dropping off application in person?
I would suggest reaching out to the hiring manager via email stating that you applied online and wanted to confirm that your resume was received, as you are very interested in this particular RN position. Showing up unannounced is a disruption in the recruiter's day and may imply that you can't follow directions. I suspect they provided an email with where to submit your application via the website or through Indeed. Do a little research and get a contact in HR to follow up with. Sometimes the Indeed post will list a contact.

PDF or Word?
I would suggest Word because it is still the preferred format for the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) software. Some systems accept PDF, but chunks of your resume could potentially be skipped over. I would stick with a Word document to be safe, no graphics, 11-12 font, chronological order, clear and concise. Good luck!

Resume Critique...thanks!
I would also suggest removing older positions that have nothing to do with nursing. They are taking up valuable resume space and add nothing. Save that for your application if an extended work history is required.

Resume Critique...thanks!
Your summary statement is actually an objective which is of no use...they know you want the job or you would not be applying, reword it to highlight your key strengths and what you bring to the table. Get rid of reasons for leaving previous jobs, they just scream you have other responsibilities that prevent you from doing your job. Bullet responsibilities for each job which makes an easier read. Remove references available upon request, that is a given and not needed. Hope this helps.
