  1. I am in my third term as a SRNA. I am faced with last fall experiencing a parent attempting suicide and family bills that accrued from multiple medical experiences. I got a b- in one class and a c in my physics course. I can go on or withdraw if not dismissed. I have heard of many experiencing issues with being dropped 3rd year and it all being wasted. This is my dream, I know that I can continue and go on to be stronger academically but if I withdrew would I be able to be accepted with positive review from my director?
  2. I took my test today and got the good pop up! Hopefully these hours fly by!
  3. Today is the day!
  4. I take mine next Tuesday I'm using hurst and uworld. I'm watching all the videos and have been doing practice questions as much as possible! Hoping enough!
  5. Hi! What is the good pop up lol
  6. Hello! I am starting in the CVICU in july and I am beyond excited but I am fully aware I have a lot to learn and am prepared to do so. I am just kind of wondering starting off when you go into your patient's room you and get a full head to toe assessment introduce yourself and make sure the patient doesn't need anything what is next as in what do I do ? What do you do when you go in does it matter according to where you work if you check labs or what the steps would be? Im trying to connect everything and I know it will come in time but I would love to have an idea of what I should be doing. Thank you

  10. Thank you! My recruiter is Karina mueller/ whitacre. I am just trying to find ways that I stand out lol. I know that sounds ridiculous but I have no experience as a nurse but I have shadowed in icu's before and the feel of it everything I sent even when the patient coded it was amazing how confident and level headed everyone was. I want to learn everything I can to be that way and knowledgeable l. How do you like it there?
  11. I have a phone interview this Thursday for SSM SLU hospital. I was wondering what kind of questions they may ask for a student nurse technician position. This is what I want to end up in and work in the ICU eventually as an acute care nurse practitioner so this is definitely important to me! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
