  1. Thats great, i was wondering how the residency program truly is because I don't know anyone who currently works there now & I am a new grad going straight into the ICU. I am not sure how long orientation is or anything yet. I was wondering are you able to ask her what is the exact color scrubs that I am able to wear? I am trying to get them online so I have to buy them in advance and I haven't received info on it. You are already in contact with the recruiter so you are in good hands, just have to get through the NCLEX and you will.
  2. Did u do rotations at NYU Langone? Or know ppl who work there who have said great things of it?
  3. So the same thing happened with me, when I initially was contacted by the recruiter I still hadn't take the nclex. So that is KEY. Once you take it and contact her back the process should run pretty smoothly. When I took the nclex, I paid for the quick results in 3 days and had let the recruiter I passed my nclex. I believe I got my license in the mail in about 1.5 week after passing.
  4. No problem.. So, I submitted my app and not sure when I was contacted exactly but it took less than a month....got called for I guess what you would call a phone interview-more like a screening interview...the week after I got called in by someone else to come in to take the exam and that same day an interview with the recruiter during the morning and the nursing manager that afternoon....Didn't get interviewed for multiple floors just one. Where are you in the process?
  5. if you have any questions i may be able to answer, do not hesitate to ask!
  6. Hey! Thank you! Yes it took a week after the interview to get the offer. I start in July!
  7. hey! its a med math(dosage) exam 15 questions...must get an 100%
  8. Is anyone here starting orientation next month at NYU Langone?
  9. Right after taking my nclex...alot of these good hospitals want to see that you have your license already (NY)
  10. Try The College of New Rochelle...I just finished their accelerated second degree program.
  11. hey i was wondering do you still have the practice test?
  12. hey I was wondering, how do you like NYP Cornell? Any advice? I have a SICU interview soon. I am a new grad?
  13. hey I was wondering, how do you like NYP Cornell? Any advice? I have a SICU interview soon. I am a new grad
  14. Yes my school took long to send me it as well...but keep it up...complete all the questions and go over each rationale even the ones you got correct. You got this!
  15. Hey UWORLD IS GREAT!!!!! If you choose to get it...don't focus too much on your percentage as you do the q bank, my overall was about a 55 when I finished all the questions. & I took the Nclex end of last month and passed first try! I think whats most important is the your review all the rationales and make sure you focus on Safety, Infection control, and priority questions!
