So I've just finished up my first year on a busy medsurg/tele floor. I love my job and all the people I work with, but there's not as much overtime available as there was before. I was thinking about applying for a PRN position at another hospital just for the extra hours and experience. I know I still have lots to learn but I feel comfortable with my skills and I like floating to other floors. Is it too soon for a PRN position? Would I even be considered with my minimal experience?
