Prerequisite courses?? Help please.

I will be graduating from high school next year and I'm starting to look up for medical schools that I'm interested in. I want to be a nurse. But I don't know about the prerequisite courses that I need to take and where should I take it. I really don't have any idea about those things. Guys please help! prerequisite courses are one of their requirements for admission. I wanted to go to LSU health science center. This is the link of their admission requirements: http://nursing.lsuhsc.edu/AcademicPrograms/Undergraduate/BSN/AdmissionCriteria.html

So what school could I take those classes?

You need to find a college to take your pre-reqs at. Most people take them at a community college. So your first step is to start the application process to the college you are going to take your pre-reqs at.

Good luck! :)

Good day:

Dito on taking the prerequisites at your local community college. Often times the price is extremely economical (1/2 to 1/3rd or more off in price).

Thank you.

You don't go to medical school to be come a nurse, you go to nursing school.Medical school is for becoming a doctor.

It all depends on the program you are applying for. If you have to have pre-Reqs completed before applying to the program, The Community College is the best route. Just make sure the classes you are taking will transfer to the Nursing Program of your choice.
