I'm starting pre-reqs in the fall.I want to brush up on my science and math skills now. It's been a whiile since I've been in a science or math class.
Anybody want to suggest any books? I've got the whole ". . . for Dummies" thing going on and the ". . . . Demystified" series as well.
Any others you suggest as primers/refreshers?
Any "Basic" or "Elementary" Biology, Chemistry and Algebra books. Go to your local library and check some out. Or go to your college's Learning Resource Center for informaton and assistance.
I agree with stpauligirl...definitely utilize the library...the actual school books will make you spend enough money.
Do Google searches for science quizzes, anatomy, etc.
I found pics on Mitosis, tissue slides, etc, printed them out & made flash cards. The more you see, the more you will learn & be able to identify things.
With math, the more problems you work, the better you'll be.
Good luck!
