there are SO many hormones we are discussing here, it would take a lesson in endocrinlogy to discuss them all.
Some go up at varying times in pregnancy.
some go down
Some spike after birth.
Others go up for breastfeeding......
It's a very intricate system we are discussing here---one that would take a VERY long post to describe.
I hope you understand.....I am on my first cuppa joe, so I am still a bit sleepy.
I never thought my hormones would be so bad. How come I feel on top of the world somedays and somedays are so incredibly hard? I don't understand why women would take hormones as they get older. It would seem to me it would be a hard thing to regulate.Jenn
The hormones women take during or before menopause are to help with the hot flashes, lady partsl dryness and other symptoms that older woman may experience as they age. They feel better when they take these and those symptoms I mentioned are decreased.
Of course, hormones are controversial and must be taken with caution.
This is totally different from what you are experiencing.

I am wondering about the pregnancy hormones. Do they increase a your pregnancy goes on or decrease? I know after the birth they go to pre-pregnancy levels but just was curious if they fluctuate during the pregnancy? What hormones increase? I am very interested in this.
Thanks,
Jenn
