Pre-Nursing!!!

Hello everyone! I’ll be applying for my schools nursing program for next fall 2020. So this fall I’ll be taking Microbiology, upper elective, and a core class. I was wondering would it be a smart idea to take Patho in the fall 2019 or should I just take Patho and pharmacology next spring 2019. I heard both Patho and pharmacology are hard classes and it’s recommended to take them separately. Also, I’ll be taking A&P 2 over the summer as a 5 week course, does anyone who’s taken it in the summer have any tips on how to make an A. I’d really appreciate that! I just finished A&P1 I passed with an 89 ?and my professor didn’t round grades so I really want that A in A&P2.

Micro is brutal to most. I got an 88 and was happy with that. Wouldn't recommend taking any super hard classes with it due to the lab component making it feel like a whole other class. That may have just been my professor though.

Check out the professors from your school who teach the classes on ratemyprofessor. Every school is different, but you should be able to get a good idea of how hard the class is by what previous students say.

I wish the schools around here allowed general students to take patho or pharm. Here, you have to be in the nursing program first, so you're pretty much forced to take everything together.
