Should I just disregard any reading until 48-72 hours. I got my PPD this afternoon and now its red (i know they don't judge this) and raised at about 15 mm. Is it possible it could go down in size? What is the timeline of a PPD reaction? Trying not to freak out but failing miserably as I am scared of this affecting my clinical rotations in the fall

We are not allowed to give any medical advice - and I am sure this is what that constitutes.
Don't freak out prematurely, just wait until you get the results.

As stated by the other poster, we are not supposed to give out or seek medical advice. But yes, a PPD is read at 48 to 72 hours by another professional.

The membership is not permitted to give medical advice. Please return to have the skin testing site read within 48 to 72 hours by a trained professional. Or, if this issue is really causing you some uneasiness, see your primary care provider.
I wish you the best of luck in school!

Please, consult with your care provider or whomever else is supposed to read your PPD at the proper time. We here at AN cannot give medical advice.
I hope all goes well for you.
