I have not worked in 5 yrs as LPN. I have started back to work in a nursing home using the pointclickcare. Does any one have any manuals or notes? Or suggestions how to get familiar with this program? Is there anything on this site/

I've used it and found it to be pretty user-friendly. You just have to be willing to get in there and play with it. Believe me, I've seen some EMR software that was a nightmare to use.....I'll take PCC any day.

I love PCC. We are in the middle of rolling it out. User friendly, like Viva said. Seek out your facilities superuser.

PCC is the best I've worked with - very user friendly.

Is there a way for you to get training for it?

During my orientation, I got PCC training.

Sonya, which part of PCC are you having problems with?

Specializes in LTC.

PointClickCare is very user friendly. The best way to learn is get in and explore it. If you have time, on your gold bar on the left side at the bottom is a link called "Resource Center" there you will find some help to navigate some areas. Unfortunately, I am unsure about accessing PCC outside of our dedicated network (like at home I mean) so any exploration would have to be done at work.

We started using PCC recently and so far I am very happy with the switch. I do plan to click the Resource tab on my next scheduled day just to see what's there.
