hi everyone....

im soo stressed right now....i tookd my test on oct 23 WITH my friend and she got her result on nov 8

I CALLED YESTERDAY N THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY SEND IT ON NOV 6 NOW I CALLED AGAIN N THEY TOLD ME THEY SEND IT ON NOV 8 !!!!(which is the day my friend got her result !!! )

I THOUGHT THEY SEND ALL THE OCT 23 RESULT ON THESAME TIME???? IS THAT A BAD sign???? MAYBE BECAUSE I FAILED? THATS WHY THEY SEND MINE LATE???

can someone please tell me if they took the test w/ thier friend and thier friend got it first but u got yours late and u pass or failed???

hi:

there really is no way to determine if you passed or failed until you get results from your bon. whether you tested with a friend has absolutely no significance in how your results are determined or when you get to receive your results. your results may not have been posted yet due to maybe your file not being complete. since its been more than 10 business days, i would suggest you call your bon and see if there is something lacking in your file.

thanks jadu...but i took the nclex-pn...not rn..hehe...i did called twice but they both told me 2 diff. day when they sent my result...soo im confused....

Each file is reviewed by a human before a license is issued. Depends on where your file is on the reviewer's desk as well as which state that you tested for.

There is not any requirement with any state that all results be sent out the same day. There are many other things that can influence things.

But be aware that each time that you phone them, it causes a delay. That is why it is best to wait at least two weeks before contacting any Board to check on results. They are unable to tell you anything over the phone.

thanks for the asnwer miss suzanne...why does it causes a delay when i call them up??? is that why when i called the first time they say they send it on nov 6 and now when i called i again they told me they send it on nov 8????

In most cases they are not actually going to your file, there is no reason for them to do that. They only have x-number of people working at any of the BONs. It takes time away from what they are doing with processing when one has to take a call about results which they are unable to give over the phone. You are one person, you have called twice; what if each and every person that tested called them two to three times. You can do the math and see how much time is wasted by this, that only delays all from getting their results.

We always state to wait at least two weeks befor contacting any BON and then contact them only once and wait for the letter or whatever else to get done. It does not matter what answer that one gives you over the phone, that is not going to change anything but you still need to wait for the letter to arrive to your home.

And what happened with a friend's file has no bearing on anything with yours.
