Firtsly, i would like to say thank you very much for reading my thread

My name is yati, im Indonesia's Nurse.I want to ask whether it is possible or no to apply for RN application process for more than one Nursing boar in Australia. For instance, is that ok if I apply RN application to Nursing board in victoria Melbourne while at the same time I also apply RN application to Nursing board in Perth or Brisbane???..

Please inform me any information

Thank you very much for your help, i do really appreciate your assistance.

God bless You...God bless the Nurses

yes its ok to apply to many boards. but july is near and australia will have a national registration. you can just wait for july so that you will only have to pass one application and your license will be valid for all the states

Hai, thank you for replying my thread, National registration??oh i dont know that, so does it mean i can only register once and can be used for more than one nursing board?? Do you mind telling me more about that, please...

Big thanks:):):)

One NATIONAL nurses board one, one, one, one covers all states, no more nursing boards for each state and continuity not different requirements for each board to register. No more never. :yeah:

Yes ceridwyn is right.

You can find more detailed information re: National Registration here.

Cheers,

Guys, do you think the national registration policy will consume more time for the applicants to wait til the application is finished assessed and get the recommendation letter?.. I know nothing about this policy, but i just thought that maybe if the process will be nationalized then maybe it will take more time since the applicants will be assessed by one national board of nursing, isn't it?!. If it's so, then maybe yati needs to apply to other board before july...

Overseas nurses have always had to apply to the one australian and midwifery nursing council before applying to individual states anyway. I am hoping that a strong standard of communicable english is number one for all health professionals as this one nursing board is part of all health professional board.

Noone can predict whether processing under the national registration scheme will take longer or not until it starts.
