I also just saw a psych nurse posting at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. They very recently opened a new in-patient unit in the Galter Pavillion. www.nmh.org

Thanks again! I looked it up. Requires a Bachelors degree and 4-6 yrs exp. I have abt 3 years of exp. and have 9 months left to get a BSN. Those are the hurdles I experience... most of them need a bachelors degree.

Hello! If you are still looking, have you tried Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital? Its a pretty big psych facility with both in and outpatient, all ages, chemical detox, etc,. Its not in the city (Hoffman Estates) but they have a few openings (http://www.alexianbrothershealth.org/services/abbhh/index.aspx).

Thanks @Strawberyheelz for the tips! I checked Womens tx center and the website states no positions are available right now, westshire is pulling up as a nursing home (looking for clinics/drug/alcohol rehabs or methadone clinics) and haymarket I applied via the website abt 1 week ago even tho Im a RN and they have a position for LPNs only. I have basically googled away and im not finding any positions so Im just depending on an inside information.
