For my BSN program, I am required to interview any of the following RN's: Nursing Clinical Information Manager; Super User, Director/Manger Clinical Education; Chief Information Officer; Quality Assurance or Performance Improvement Nurse; Nurse Informaticist; Telenursing Specialist; Nurse Abstractor; Case Manager; Compliance Nurse. If anyone knows someone that fits this requirement and is willing to participate in a short interview, PLEASE contact me at [email protected].

Thank you!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to Allnurses.com Inc! By the way, I am an RN case manager...

However, I think your professor(s) may have wanted a face-to-face interview for your assignment due to the following reasons...

1. Face-to-face interviews facilitate development of a professional network as well as interviewing skills.

2. Since this is a mostly anonymous internet community, you cannot actually verify that anyone who responds to your query is really a compliance nurse, chief information officer, or so forth. Therefore, you might end up interviewing a phony who is not even a licensed nurse.

On the internet, people can be whatever they want to be.

Help? Sure. Call the public health department, the big city hospital IT department, the university nursing graduate school. Ask for a referral to a live person. Go out for coffee.

See? That was easy. And you will be able to tell your professor that you are sure the person you sat with is actually what you thought and not some pimply 15-year-old or truck driver posing as a nurse on an anonymous internet board.
