Placement 2016

My timestamp was set for dec 15. Did anyone else not get placed? I was told not to expect to be placed until fall 17. My adviser told me i could be in sooner. Talk about bad news..

    any of the maricopa. i had Gateway accelerated and PC as my top two. They said i had to wait for the next placement

    Im sorry, They did that to me too. I applied summer of last year and they told me I would get placed fall 2015 or spring 2016. I didnt end up getting placed until now for fall 2016.

    My time stamp was Dec 22nd I did not get placed this round but fingers crossed for Spring 2017, it looks like the wait list is going up past the 2 semester wait.

    Have any of you guys talked to Paradise Valley? I was pretty sure they said they don't even have a wait list anymore as of a few months ago?

    I never heard about that. I live across from Phoenix College and Gateway is a straight shot. So i rather walk to the school

    Don't out any stock into what you hear from the schools directly. Only listen to what the placement center tells you. We get a lot of block 1 students and my facility all the time. Recently a clinical instructor from MCC told me that MCC no longer had a wait list. I don't care to disagree with people for no benefit so I didn't correct her. But I felt like saying "tell that to all people still on the wait list with MCC as an option". The schools don't always have all the information about the wait list and placement.

    I had up to 6 options because I wanted to get in fast. My time stamp was for July 2015 and I just got placed for Fall 2016. I was still finishing up my pre-reqs for the NAU CEP. So I didn't mind much. If you don't want to wait maybe check out the LPN, then you can jump into Block 3. I've also had people tell me there is a 2 year or even 3 year wait and I've also talked to people about getting in after only one semester. I think a 2 semester wait is about what is expected now, but there is definitely a wait.
