Has anyone been placed at MCC Spring 2014? Do you know when we will receive our Orientation packets? I am so excited to get mine and to view our schedule.

You will probably get more responses in the program forum. But I just got placed as well and from what I understand, after your letter of intent is received by the placement team, they send your info to the college. Then the college will mail your packet shirty after that. I would guesstimate it to be a couple weeks after you placement notification.
Can you tell me where to find the program forum by chance? TIA!
Took me a bit to figure this site out as well. When you come into AZ nursing, there is a bold black link that says ARIZONA NURSING PROGRAMS. Click that and it brings you to the forum for AZ students. When you post about your cohort, maybe some others in your class will respond.

We have a facebook group !!! Check for Mesa Community College Nursing School Traditional Block 2014
I entered that on Facebook but it doesn't show there is a group with that name. Is it set up as a private group?
No it's still there, its a closed group, make sure you are copying and pasting the group name ..

I was placed at MCC for spring 2014 as well and I am not sure when we will get the orientation packets. I think I read on the registration forms that the actual orientation in on January 7th. Are you a CEP student?
I received my packet09/30/13, by email. I have since received a second packet by email, in 10/18/13. If you haven't received anything, definitely give the nursing department a call. Ask for Jennifer Vasquez. She has been sending the packets and has been very helpful to me with other questions I have had.

Congrats to all of you starting the program in the spring. Can you tell me how long was your wait? I have been on the list since 11/2011.I hope to have a seat soon but as you know cannot get an answer from the school.
Thanks.
There's a thread a little ways down that has people posting date/time stamps as they get accepted. I was Aug/2011. I believe they are currently doing replacement runs in the Oct/2011 timestamps. If you turned your packet in Nov/2011, were you part of the Dec/2011 group. I would think you only have 1-2 more semesters wait. Make sure you fill in all 5 spots if possible to possibly get in sooner. GL
