I just re-discovered this site: http://physiwiki.wetpaint.com/ which may be helpful, but keep in mind that it's a wiki and double check the info you find. I did notice some really good looking illustrations and a few videos included in the sections within the chapter pages.

oh my goodness i am sorry! i started the thread and dissappeared (stupid computer!) anyway, i'm back and ready to study! :) so i was taking the practice quiz for phys and i ran across this question.

"as the filtrate moves up the ascending loop, its concentration __________, and its volume ___________. "

i chose decrease/increase, but the answer was decrease/stays the same. i'm kinda confused. if it's losing concentration wouldn't the volume increase? (or even decrease, i don't get how it would stay the same.)

thanks in advanced... i'm so lost!

Oh ya and my lab manual is Physio Ex 8.0, my text is Principals of Human Physiology by Stanfield and Germann.
