  1. hi im kimberly and i am looking for an :nurse:rn that would be glad to answer a couple of questions for me... 1. what brought you into the field of nursing? 2. what keeps you actively practicing in the nursing profession? 3. what are the greatest rewards/challenges in the profession of nursing? 4. what changes have you seen in the nursing profession over the span of your career? 5. what changes would you like to see? 6. what advice can you offer a student entering nursing school? 7. what advice can you offer a new nurse entering the profession? and if you could please tell me your name and how long you have been working as an rn that would be great. thank you so much for your time i very much appreciate it.:)

  11. ok i have some study questions to ask you guys! what stain could be used to detect Bacillus anthracis in a terrorist attack? why when a human is infected with streptococcus can get a shot of penicillin that will destroy the Streptococcus but not harm the human? and why when a person has Mycoplasma pneumoniae it is not harmed if the patient is given a shot of penicillin?
  12. so i have a question. In a hypertonic solution red blood cells are said to crenate. why does crenation occur?
  13. i think that would be the best way for us to study deb and also if we talk about a certain subject that we are having trouble on then it could also help us to remember it, so its open to any other idea if you guys have one if not we should begin.:wink2:
  14. Im using Vanders human physiology: the mechanisms of body function 10th edition. My lab was created by my physio teacher. so far we have covered chemical composition of the body,cellular structure, proteins, metabolism, and movement of molecules across cell membranes. So what have you guys covered and how do you guys want to do this study group? do you guys want to ask questions and test each other on it or what let me know so we can start doing this.:typing
  15. well this my second week of micro and so far my prof. told us that we will need to know cellular Morphology so far and of crouse all the other info regarding bacteria and certain types of stains that are used such as: gram stain, acid-fast stain, endospore stain
