PHCC Pre-req Question

I have a question regarding PHCC's pre-req requirments. I am looking to sign up for the nutrition class for Spring 2009. I am taking A&P and Labs at SPC, but they wouldn't let me take HUN at SPC because I have not completed Intro to Bio. On the PHCC website, it says that HUN has "recommended prerequesites" (intro to Bio or A&P). What does that mean? Would they still allow me to sign up for HUN without any prereqs?? I have completed BSC 1930 at SPC (Biological Issues) if that has any bearing. I really need to complete HUN in the spring to have any hope of applying for Fall RN program. Any info is helpful!!

I believe that it means the courses are not required; they just suggest that you take them before enrolling in HUN. If you find that you are unable to take it at PHCC, try Florida Community College at Jacksonville. They do not have any prerequisites.

Hillsborough Comm College doesn't have any pre-reqs for this class and it is also offered on line. I am takingit on line for Spring 2009.

http://www.hccfl.edu It is only offered on the Dale Mabry (tampa) campus for lecture format but there are about 4-5 online sections. The classes fill pretty quickly so u may want to check them out.

NewGoalRN is correct. I took it online at HCC in the summer. PS... it is a very easy A!
