Pearson Quick Results

Hello all! This is my first post but I've read tons of stuff on here that really helped me! I took NCLEX on Friday (the 13th). First off I got the dreaded 265. I thought I failed. There was not one part of me that thought there was ANY way I passed that thing. So yesterday, I paid for the quick results and under status it says "passed". Nothing has shown up on the states website yet. I live in PA. So I know everyone says not to call and bug them, but I did. They were super nice but said "they have not received anything yet". So I guess what I want to know is #1- if the pearson quick results are 100% accurate. And #2 if anyone knows how long it take the state of PA to post results after they receive them. I am so sorry this is so long and frantic! I am usually very laid back lol! I am scared the state is going to tell me Pearson made a mistake and I did not pass. Ya, its been a very relaxing couple of days;)! Thank you for any help.

Congratulations

Each BON has their own way on sending out licenses you probably need to give it a bit longer

pearson-vue results are 100% valid, they are considered unofficial since they are not the ones that issue licenses. but you have passed the exam and that is what counts for you.

congratulations on passing the exam.

You mean I can go back to eating, sleeping and acting like a normal person again? Thank you both for the info and thanks for the warm congrats!:yeah:

Well I don't know if nurses can be classed as normal (that's what my DH tells me :D) but yes you can start living a normal life again

How long before they post results, and if there is a "delay" is that b/c of a fail. I also took my exam on Friday and so far, no results on Pearson... Lots of others on this site have there results and they have "passed." Any advice?

I got my quick results on Sunday at abut 8:45 am. My test began at 8 am on Friday. Hmmm. I don't know what to think... Does it say "delayed" under the status on you pearson vue account page? I'm sorry I can't be more helpful. Try not to get too upset (easier said than done) until you get more information from someone who knows.

Did you pay the fee to them and does your state participate in Quick Results? If they do not, then you are never going to see your results there, only about 1/2 of the states do.

If you tested on Friday, and your state participated, then your resullts would have been there yesterday; it is just 48 hours after testing.

does california do the quick results?

does california do the quick results?

No they do not, expect results between 3-10 days according to their website may even take longer

Still no results with the PA BON. I wish they would hurry up! I feel much better after hearing the quick results are accurate, however so many on here recently even, had their info on the state board way sooner than this. When I called they told me no RN license has come through yet. I am hoping it is just a busy time and they are backed up, but it is hard not to think the worst when I have been so stressed the past few weeks leading up the test. It just seems kinda weird my quick results were up 2 days ago and PA knows nothing about it? Any one that has any idea what may be happening please let me know. THANKS!!!:banghead:

Well congratulations, and good luck to you as a new RN. I have taken my boards this past Friday, and still NO RESULTS either way. Not a good feeling...:banghead:... I don't want to rain on anyones parade but at this point, can the news be good? No Quick Results available, nor is it on the Florida BON, and as everyone that has tested in FLknows, that is NOT a good sign, as they are usually on the website (licenses posted I mean), BEFORE the pearson quick reviews are done. IF ANYONE has a different experience in FL, and after 4 days, you still have "passed" please let me know. I am FREAKING out. ... I need some good news, and a break. This is attempt number 3 for me.

THANKS!
