Yes. Burn a stick from the oldest cedar tree in the country, then...
Wait, wrong trick.
In three days start checking the state BON website, if you live where you can verify licenses. Check every day at nine PM and only nine PM. If you don't, move on and read the next paragraph.
Take time to reward yourself. Get outside. Read a book that doesn't have to do with nursing. Watch endless TV. Get a manicure.

If you are in a State that participates in Pearson Vue's Quick Results program, you can go to the PV website and pay a fee of $7.95 for accurate results. They are termed "unofficial", but they ARE accurate results of your performance. These results are available approximately 48 hours from the time you complete your examination. If you are in a State that doesn't participate in the program, you will always see "results unavailable" because....well....they never will be.
The "trick" so many talk about is known as the Pearson Vue Trick, or PVT. It involves going through the process of registering for a new exam (which is a duplicate registration and against Pearson Vue's Terms of Service). If they take your $200, you *PROBABLY* failed. But some who pay the money do pass. If it doesn't take your money (refuses to allow you to register again at that time) it means you *PROBABLY* passed. But some who get stopped at this point (aka: "good pop up") end up failing anyway.
It's a Magic 8 Ball game that MOST of the time gives you the message you want that indicates your test status. Except when it doesn't.
Some will crow "it worked for me!! And everyone I know!!" and then there are others who will say the opposite.
Know what I think? Pay the eight bucks and be done with it. If you're in California, check the website, BReEze website for license data. Other States, check with the BoN's website.
You'll know soon enough :)
Good luck!
