I took the NCLEX on Valentine's Day and I'm happy to report that I passed!! I decided to post about what helped me study as I learned a lot in preparation from these forums. I graduated December 16th and I decided I was going to take the NCLEX ASAP so I wouldn't forget what I learned from nursing school. My friends who had previously passed the NCLEX told me about UWorld for questions and in depth rationales. After some research, I chose to buy a one month subscription. My scores from UWorld were not overly impressive, I believe my overall score was a 57%. However, I attribute all of the credit to that site. I only did roughly 950 questions, but the rationales were thorough for both the correct answer and more importantly the incorrect choices. Even the display of the questions was similar to the NCLEX and I feel that helped me relax. I did not try other programs to study but this doesn't mean they are not effective methods of studying. I am simply passing along that I passed with the help of UWorld and I am so so so grateful. Thanks to everyone who posted and guided my studying, I genuinely appreciate it.

This is NOT going to help you, Sianee. Focusing your studies to what the OP experienced is just a waste of time. You don't understand rationales to what's causing your own failures. Now you're trying to study what someone else saw???? That makes no sense whatsoever.
Failure #15 coming right up. It does not matter what state he tested for licensure....it is all the same exam.
Okay, I goi it
Okay, I got it
Personally, I would take very general 75 question practice tests with UWorld then after 3 or 4 I could see a pattern in my learning deficits. The rationales were very helpful. Also legally I'm not allowed to specify what is on the NCLEX. That subjects me to federal discipline.
