I just started on my pre reqs and have a few more classes to go. Pasadena college is one of the top schools I'm interested in applying. Hopefully you get in spring 2015 :)

I have applied as well. I applied for spring 2014 and was picked as an alternate and last semester nothing. So hopefully this time around works.

I applied too. Those who were in the LVN-RN applicant pool were notified today. I still have to take my TEAS test on the 25th. Getting excited!

Good! Glad to hear from you. I'm studying for the TEAS, but haven't scheduled it just yet. I'm thinking of waiting to see if I get accepted, and if I do, them I can take it. They give us about two weeks to take it, so I'll just keep studying until then.

Do they notify you prior to taking the TEAS test? I thought they only accepted you if they knew you passed your TEAS

Well, I was an alternate this passed spring and the guy at the office said to wait on the TEAS test until I hear back on whether I'm in or not. Maybe we should call them and find out for you?

Thanks, I started reading past posts from last year, looks like they send you a notification to take the TEAS if you have enough points, then if you pass the TEAS, you go into a second pool. Final notifications go out about 2 weeks later

I got different information this pass spring, but I'll take that is a possible truth and will schedule my TEAS test soon. Are you ready for it now?

You don't have to take it before they tell you that you are a candidate, I have applied to 4 other schools, so I have to take it anyway. Am I ready? Not really, but I am trying!
