I did a search on the above subject which didn't produce any relevant information. I was wondering what kind of part-time work (if any) RN's on this board do (especially RNs who work 36 hours/week on inpatient units). I'm sure a lot of people work per-diem or supplemental on other inpatient units, but I'm trying to find part-time work that isn't as stressful (36 hours/week on my unit is enough for me ). If anyone has any ideas for (or experience with) part-time/per-diem work in settings OTHER than inpatient hospital units it would be greatly appreciated. Almost all of my background is in health care/EMS, but my employment experience/training has made me quite adept at customer service. Hence, any kind of related position in which customer service skills are involved would be a natural fit for me (although I'm definitely not good at selling stuff).
