Pace ABSN Fall 2018

I am applying for the Pace ABSN Fall 2018 Program. I wanted to start a thread for anyone applying to the program because I realize how much information and support we can give each other. I applied to the NYC campus and plan to drop off my documents in person at the temporary office in a few days.

What if the portal reads Application Ccomplete but not "in review"?

Hey everyone, I'm applying too! Wishing us all luck getting in! My application finally reads as complete (after some calls and emails), so hoping to hear back sometime soon. Has anyone who applied within the last month had any change in application status yet or gotten emailed for an interview?

I am still waiting for my application to say completed. I dropped off all my transcripts over 2 weeks ago. I called and was told to be patient. Did you email a specific admissions counselor or the general admissions email?

Just the general graduate admissions email. I️ put my student ID, name, program I'm applying to and item I️'m referencing allllll right in the subject line. They said are still getting tons of documents and doing that helps them find things when you call to follow up.

Oh, and did they tell you to email unofficial transcripts? They told me to do that, and then they took those items off my checklist within a few hours.

Nope not yet @mmp

Thank you for the information. I had emailed my unofficial transcripts a few weeks ago. I will emailed them again.

how did the 2/5 interviews go??

@vruth How did the interview go? I know in the past, the essay was asking about the affordable care act. What topic did you have?

@jessie02 it was okay! Could've gone better but I think I let my nerves get the best of me haha but the group interview wasn't what I expected. It was more of a presentation - we each stood in the front of the room and spoke to admissions and everyone else in the room, I think 11 other applicants total. I was expecting more of a sit down and talk to each other type interview so it threw me off a bit.

That was topic, also I also wasn't expecting a real question like that. Thought it'd be a simple "tell me about yourself" or something along those lines. But they had said they weren't really focused on your opinion just more how you write.

My application status still says in review, I don't know about anyone else from the 2/5 interviews

How do they contact for interviews? Via email?

@sctree12 email!

Thanks so much for posting your experience, I️ had no idea the "interview" would be like that! So they had you stand up in front of everyone and talk about the Affordable Care Act? That's intense! I'm sure you did great and really appreciate you posting about it!
