Anyone have an otoscope that they are super happy with that did not cost an arm and a leg?

i have several otoscopes - it's a long story... the expensive welch allyn is of course the lovely one - but i find that i tend to reach for the $120 pico light that i got out of the shgool health catalogue most often.

Found the link, as I would like to get a budget one, too.

I have this one too:

as my W/A one broke and i had a temper tantrum when it came to budget time. I have to say that for 60 bucks, this one isn't terrible. I like the piccolight better but this one gets the job done too if you really want an otoscope at bargain basement prices

Thanks for the recommendation. I won't use one enough to justify taking away from education $ for something I may use a half dozen times / year. Like to hear reviews before buying blind.

My WA was broken when I started in August. I've figured a very inconvenient way to use my penlight to stand in for the broken like on the scope itself but it sucks. I really need to bite the bullet and buy a new one. Maybe at the end of the year I will see how much money I have left in my budget and order one.
