i'm glad i saved this link. it was started by an lpn student and chronicles her experience from her first day of orientation through her first few weeks up until her first clinicals in a nursing home.

the question comes up a lot as the new terms approach so i started saving certain thread addresses. every time i see these questions it brings back memories of my nursing school days in nursing lab. even though it was over 30 years ago i can still close my eyes and feel the ambience of being there. it was an exciting time. you guys enjoy this great time in your life! don't let negative comments others make get you down. my instructors weren't like that at all. they were positive, upbeat and very nurturing. i hope you all have the same experience.

Daytonite, that link was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!

Have a great orientation on the 17th! That member, by the way, is still active and posts on the student forums. You might want to come back to this thread and report on your day or add a post to the above thread. I also have a link to a thread for RN school orientation.
