  1. Can anyone tell me ANYTHING as it relates to difficulty of the program, how easy/difficult it is to be accepted into the program, when do they send out acceptance letters after application for program has been submitted. I have been posting all over these forums and no one has responded and I am desperate to know so if you could help me with this I would be so grateful
  2. oh and i would also like to know how difficult it is to get admitted in your opinion
  3. hi all! I was curious to see if anyone was in or is going to apply to the lpn to rn program for this fall? I particularly would like to know if anyone could tell me how long the wait is to find out if you got in after you have turned in your application. ANY AND ALL INPUT IS GREATLY APPRECIATED
  4. I was wondering if any of you all knew anything about the lpn to rn aasn program at asu-jonesboro. Im currently seeking acceptance for the fall 2013 program. Any insight on how difficult it is to get in, clinic hours, class hours etc. ANY AND ALL INFO WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!
  5. @ cancergirl: I'm in the northeast part of the state. I got into the LPN program at ASU.
  6. Hey hang in there. I know exactly what you are going through. I am a single mother of a daughter that will be 2 on aug 7 and ill be starting LPN school aug 11. (my bday is aug 13 *just thought id throw that in there*) I wont be sending my daughter anywhere b/c i cant imagine being away from her for even more than a day. Luckily for me though ive found a program that will pay for her daycare etc. while im in school. I dont think that i can make anything a number one priority over my baby, not even nursing school. I wont have to work while im in nursing school (thank God) so whatever time that i have left outside of studying will be spent with her b/c im a mommie first and a student second. That was just my 2 cents. U have to do what u feel is best for u and your daughter. God Bless!
  7. I often wonder if i can be a nurse b/c i have VERY WEAK STOMACH. Im glad to know that im not the only who started out like that.
  8. I havent taken the Compass but i have taken a test called the ASSET and i had to take that in conjunction with the NET in order to be considered 4 the nursing program that i applied to and from my understanding the Compass and the Asset are almost the same. The ASSET is in the same format as the Compass is explained in the above reply and the NET and the ASSET were both pretty easy. So if you have taken the NET then i wouldnt be to worried about the Compass being difficult. Anyway, goodluck 2 ya and i hope this helps. God Bless!
  9. Daytonite, that link was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!
  10. I start Aug. 11th!!!! So excited, so nervous! Good luck 2 all preparing to enter nursing school!
  11. @ joymama: 9 KIDS!!!!! I must say, honestly, that i am truly inspired by you. I have a 1 small daughter and i have been worrying about how im gonna go to nursing school and be an effective mommie. But ya know what, if u can do it with 9 kids then i have no right to complain about tackling nursing school w/ my one child. Again i say i am truly, TRULY inspired by you. God bless you and i just know that u will be a fabulous nurse!!!!
  12. When i got my scores from the ASSET it was a seperate score for verbal ability, math, and english
  13. Im going to arkansas state. i actually have taken both the net and the asset and i found the asset to be harder than the net. but the good news is that i got almost perfect scores on the asset. What school are u going to?
