Hi, I am new here I was certified in September of this year 2013, I am currently working as a CNA, here in Michigan. I am not really liking it at all I am wondering where can I work as a phlebotomist? I am also certified in EKG , and PCT. SO would I be able to get a job in a Dr. Office or Hospital? I am really interested in a Dr office because of the hours, weekends off, holiday's off, I don't like the hours of LTC, I am working 5 days a week plus only get one weekend a month off, I am suppose to only PART TIME . I am making really good money 15.20 for just starting in October, money isn't everything to me. I am at the point in my life I want to find something I enjoy not just for the money. I have never worked in a DR office and know nothing about clerical work, just everyday computer use. I know how to do vitals, draw blood, hook EKG leads up. So is there any hope for me? I would love advise on how to approach handing in my resume into DR office when I have no experience. I know I should go back to school to take a course for a CMA, but have little time to do so. Also I am just now starting my career at 36, I have been a stay at home mom for the last 17 years which my boys are 17 and 15. I hope I make since to everyone. Thanks for your time. By the way I work 2nd shift.
